The stockings were hung by the chimney with care…

Just a quick post today, as I’m still getting ready for our Christmas Stall at South Sydney Markets this Sunday – if you’re in the Sydney area, why not pop over and say ‘Hi’ to Karen and myself.

I just had to stop and share some photos of these little gift card stockings – very cute, even if I do say so myself. Here’s my favourite so far.

  • Stamp Set: Tiny Tags, Christmas Greetings
  • CS: Soft Suede
  • Ink: Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red
  • DSP: Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper (still available as part of the ‘Dress Up Christmas’ promotion in the ‘Welcome Christmas’ Bundle)
  • Accessories: White Gel Pen, Basic Pearl, and from the new Summer Mini – Mini Vintage Tag and Victoria Crochet Trim

I just love the feel of that Christmas Cocoa DSP – it’s a bit hard to tell from the photo, but it’s flocked, so it even feels like fabric!

Here’s the inside where the gift card goes, with some space to write a greeting.

And, just because they’re too cute not to show off, here’s a few more…

I’d love to say that I came up with the template for these, but it was the amazing Claire Brennan from Waltzingmouse that has this Bitty Stocking Template available for free on her blog. If you make one using her template, be sure to visit her blog and leave her some love. All bloggers love hearing from their readers – that way we know there’s at least one person who visits! LOL!

Well, I’m off to make some more Gift Card Stockings for the stall – they’re so much fun to make – and a lot faster than sewing them!

(almost) Christmas Cheers!
