Just a quick peek at the other projects we’ll be making on Sunday at my Mothers Day Class – a bright and cheerful Tulip Card using the Two Step Bird Punch, and a little treat holder – hmmm, what chocolates or lollies will fit in there I wonder. Have no fear, I’m willing to do some experimentation for you. 😉
- CS – Kraft, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss
- DSP – Washington Apple
- Ink – Riding Hood Red
- Accessories – Two Step Bird Punch, Riding Hood Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Two Way Glue
I don’t know who first came up with the idea of using the wings from the Two Step Bird Punch as tulip petals, but it sure looks effective!
Mothers Day Purse Treat Holder
I got the idea for this little treat holder from Angie Kennedy Juda’s terrific website Chic’n Scratch – she has heaps of project tutorials that she has shared. I’ve made this one a little differently as I wanted to make it look like a little purse.
- CS – Kraft, Kiwi Kiss
- DSP – Urban Garden
- Accessories – Butterfly Punch, Trio Flower Punch, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Soft Subtle Brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals
If you can’t make it to the class on Sunday, but would still like to make these, I’ll be offering them as a Stamp by Post kit. The cost is $15.00 plus $1.10 postage, and you get everything in your kit that you would at the class for the three projects we’ll be making, except for the use of the inks and stamps. So it will include pre-cut and scored cardstock, punched shapes, such as the trio flower and butterfly, ribbon etc and instructions on how to creat your projects. If you would like to purchase the stamp sets that I’ve used in the Photo Wallet project, Seeing Spots and Basic Phrases, let me know in your email.
If you’re interested in joining in via Stamp by Mail, send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with Stamp by Mail – Mothers Day in the subject line.
