It only took a few moments to make this cheery little card – it’s always good to have a simple design up your sleeve for when you need a beautiful card in a hurry. This could even be a quick and easy Easter card – the gelato colours featured in the Tea Party DSP make me think of Easter.
The stamp I’ve used is from the Happy Moments set in the Sale-a-bration catalogue – if you think it’s cute, you’d better get your skates on, because by the end of March it will be gone, gone, gone.
- Cardstock: Mellow Moss, Watercolour Paper
- DSP: Tea Party
- Stamp Set: Happy Moments
- Inks: Basic Black, Cameo Coral, Perfect Plum, Regal Rose, Old Olive
- Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals
This image is a great one to watercolour – you could make a whole set of cards like this using different DSP, and hand colour your flowers to match! If you’re a bit worried about your watercolouring skills, why not use a blender pen? That’s what I’ve used to colour this stamped image, because I was in a bit of a hurry. A blender pen is a very useful tool, allowing you to pick up ink from the lid of your ink pad and use it like a felt tip pen, and then move on to another colour.
Sale-a-bration finishes on 31st March, and so does the Summer Mini Catalogue – if there’s something in these catalogues that you’d really like to have, please don’t miss out. If you don’t have time for a workshop at the moment, just email your order details to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and your order will be delivered to your door in just a few days.
Thanks for stopping by!
