Challenge Time with The Inklings!

I love doing cyberchallenges! And tonight’s first Inklings Challenge, set by Kari, was a colour challenge using “Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, and a third colour of your choice” with the optional addition of Whisper White or Very Vanilla.

As soon as I saw the challenge, I rummaged through every scrap I had – NO KIWI KISS!!! I like it so much, I’ve used it all, except for one lonely little butterfly punched for a workshop project, and it didn’t fit in with the card I wanted to make. 😦

Not to worry – I’ve used Old Olive instead – you can just use your imagination and insert Kiwi Kiss where the Old Olive is! I’ve used Chocolate Chip ink as the third colour on my card. Hope you like it; the next challenges will hopefully be up soon! Sorry for the blurriness of the photo!

Cardstock: Whisper White, Baja Breeze

DSP: Windsor Knot

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Stamp Set: Good Neighbours (SAB set)

Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Trio Flower Punch, 1 3/4″ Punch, Vintage Brad, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon

Ok – Challenge No. 2 from Kari – “Make a card/layout using up scraps of ribbon from your stash – must be at least 3 different coloured pieces but there can be more colours and/or pieces if you like!”

It’s a bit over the top, but it does use three colours of ribbon!

Cardstock: Whisper White

DSP: Raspberry Tart

Ink: Pretty in Pink

Stamp Set: Whimsical Words (SAB set)

Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Bone Folder, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Chocolate Chip 1″ Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
