“A book is like a garden carried in the pocket.” Chinese Proverb

Whenever I look at the Circle Circus stamp set, I immediately think of blue and white oriental pottery. It’s so very pretty – the designs are so intricate, but come out so cleanly when you stamp them. I’ve got another project in mind for this set, but I wanted to share just a quick bookmark I made last night while I was playing around with it.

Card stock used is Very Vanilla and Night of Navy. Inks used are Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue, Ballet Blue and Night of Navy. I’ve only used six of the stamps in the set – there are ten in it, so it’s great value. You can’t see it in the photo, but I’ve only secured the top of the diagonal square to the back of the bookmark – that way it slides over the page like a paperclip to hold your place in your book.

It only took a small amount of time to do, but would be lovely to include with a gift of a book or gift voucher for a book store.
